      <image:title>About - How I got into strength.</image:title>
      <image:caption>I’m Moorea Boardman, founder of YellowLizard Strength and a strength coach dedicated to helping people become stronger, more capable, and more confident in their own bodies. My journey into strength training didn’t begin with natural athleticism. As a teenager, I faced significant health challenges with POTS and osteoporosis that left me severely deconditioned and forced me to rebuild from the ground up. Through that process, I discovered something that continues to shape my coaching philosophy today: strength is about far more than what you can lift. It’s about resilience, self-belief, and developing tools to meet life’s challenges. Since then, I’ve spent years coaching individuals from all walks of life - from first-time gym-goers and busy professionals to outdoor enthusiasts, athletes, and competitive powerlifters. My approach combines evidence-based training, client-first relationships, and tailored programming to help clients achieve meaningful results while building habits they can sustain for life. I have attained my NASM-CPT and USPA-CPCP as well as completed several intensive educational programs related to strength and performance. I have had the pleasure of learning and competing alongside many of the best coaches in the country. That said, I consider myself a forever student. I believe training is about more than workouts. It's about developing strength in mind, body, and spirit so you can live well both inside and outside the gym. Outside of the gym, you can find me hiking, camping, engaged in philosphical debates, and drinking coffee with my four-legged family.</image:caption>
